Clint:

OLF was awesome! I hope to be back next year. Big thanks to you, iWolf, and all the other Fedora peeps that made it work so well. I'll probably post my OLF report later on tonight.

Jeff:

Super job organizing the Fedora presence at this great event! I was proud to see how professionally Fedora was represented and easily served the crowds of Fedora interested people. It is exciting to imagine that all of them might soon be new Fedora users and valuable contributors. I hope to help out even more with the booth next year. It was great to finally meet you and many other community members in person.

Thanks for all the work you did for this event and for this well written event report!

For those of you that missed OLF this year, I hope you'll plan ahead to make it there next year.

@Jeremy
Yes, I agree that a Planet post is going to miss the broad target of non-voters. I hoped it might catch a few of the folks who were not fab mailing list members. At least planet followers are apt to be more likely to comment on why they did not vote.

@Nicu
Thanks for the comment! Your reason echoes some of what was seen on the fab mailing list - that any of the candidates would do a good job with no real preference towards any one of them.

I didn't vote. Why? Because I don't have a preference. I believe *any* of the candidates would do a good job and I didn't have any argument why one would do a better job than another.
And I am not close enough to any of them to vote a candidate only due to friendship :p

I suspect that a large number of the 3800 or so people who didn't vote aren't planet readers. If they did, they would have seen the numerous posts about the election, nominees pimping themselves and general "I voted" bits.

So I think the question is how to get at that audience that isn't there.

Yeah, we missed you! Brian and I wondered if you were going to make it. Don't worry though, I am sure we will do another one for Fedora 10!

I'm really glad that the release party went well! I really wanted to come, but that evening I was unable to make it (despite having RSVP'ed far in advance). It would have really been nice to have met some of the local Fedorites.
